Our Favorite Charities
At Team Callan, we believe in giving back. Two of Dan's favorite charities that we regularly give and promote, is the Lourdes Senior Community and Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Lourdes Senior Community
Lourdes Senior Community, a non-profit, continuing care retirement community, has grown into a neighborhood of 250 seniors living in four distinct residences. Fox Manor offers independent living, Mendelson Home provides assisted living, Clausen Manor cares for those living with dementia and Lourdes Nursing Home offers long-term care and a rehabilitation center. Guiding our activity, decisions and behaviors, our core values are at the heart of everything we do: Dignity, Service, Spirituality and Compassion.
Dan says: "With my mother, we experienced three so called "good" facilities prior to Lourdes. Lourdes was like one step closer to heaven for her."

Big Brothers and Big Sisters
For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Dan says: "I was lucky to have a big brother, but I have never had a little brother. I do now, and his name is Taylor."

Children’s Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. When a donation is given it stays in the community, ensuring that every dollar is helping local kids. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4 billion, most of it $1 at a time. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
