Brighton, Michigan

Livingston County’s most-affluent community, Brighton boasts amazing freeway access, making it a commuter’s dream. The community also boasts award-winning schools, upscale dining and shopping, a wide variety of housing, and a thriving cultural center.

The heart of the community is the downtown Mill Pond area, around which sit homes, a church, restaurants, shops, a park and a world-class children’s play area erected by community volunteers. A thriving farmers market operates from May through October, offering a wide range of locally grown produce. The Mill Pond is also home to a number of sculptures, all part of the city’s Biennial project, which treats the town as an outdoor art gallery.
